Caliban searching for signs of spring

The weather has been mild for a week or so and the snow has started to melt. Though it seems somehow too early to go out searching for signs of spring, Caliban wanted to go anyway.


- Is this supposed to be spring? There is snow everywhere.


- The forest is still full of snow.


- In the open areas you can find bare spots.


- Here is something green growing through the snow!

(Actually those are last year's lingonberries, but Caliban does not know enough botany yet.)


- Here the snow is awfully wet...


- Is this a sign of spring?


- Here the snow is almost gone - just an icy puddle left.
